NAWP begins a new chapter as a network of the PDA

The new year brings an exciting opportunity for you to join the relaunched National Association of Women Pharmacists (NAWP). We're delighted to say that the experience of NAWP standing up for women pharmacists is now combined with the resources and campaigning reach of the PDA.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

NAWP is once again open for new members. We’re looking forward to creating the next chapter of our 115 years of history and we’d like you to be part of it.

PDA’s existing objectives to “Represent your interests”, “Defend your reputation” and “Support your career” fit comfortably together with the NAWP mission to “enable all women pharmacists to realise their full potential and raise their profile by being educationally, socially and politically active” and we are going to make a positive difference for women pharmacists.

JOIN NAWP NOW

You can support the important work of NAWP and benefit from our activity by adding NAWP membership to your existing PDA membership.  NAWP will continue to:

  • Contribute to debate within the profession and healthcare
  • Represent pharmacy amongst women’s organisations
  • Address Career and CPD issues
  • Provide networking and fellowship opportunities
  • Examine women’s healthcare issues

As well as the ability to support and engage in the work of the network, all NAWP members also have access to a number of other benefits, including: Publications, Training & Education and Events,

PDA members benefit from a discounted membership fee and you are invited to join NAWP today for just £10 per year, or FREE if you are a PDA student member.

Existing PDA members will have their NAWP membership renewal date aligned with their main PDA membership, so that they only have a single, combined renewal each year. This means your initial NAWP membership may be for  less than a year and in that first year you will only pay the relative proportion of the £10 annual fee for the remainder of your current PDA membership year.
