    On Tuesday 4 June, the PDA held an online event to launch the PDA Ability Network’s new campaign, ‘Standing Up for Sitting Down’. The campaign aims to raise awareness of disability discrimination and calls on employers to make appropriate and ongoing reasonable adjustments.

With a career that spans over 30 years and includes work in public, special and academic libraries, he describes himself as an elder of the LGBTQ community who is as passionate now about diversity and inclusion as he was when he first came out as a gay man in the early 1980s. The network is encouraging members to exercise their rights by calling on employers to make appropriate reasonable adjustments and will also work with members to create a culture where there is zero tolerance for discrimination.
