The PDA has obtained confirmation from the NI Health Minister that pharmacists will be included in the NI compensation scheme.
The PDA has been communicating with all four UK governments through this pandemic to ensure that the voice of pharmacists is heard and their interests represented distinct from the voice of their employers.
This is the latest confirmation and we thank Mr Swann for his confirmation. While we are working hard with all interested parties to reduce the risk of our profession catching the virus, it is nevertheless welcome that should the worst happen, a pharmacist’s family may be compensated under the scheme
