The group explained how they found the booking process, being at Pearson Vue centres, the format of the questions and shared top tips for preparing to sit the assessment online. Samuel Opoku told pre-regs that “the online assessment was much better than I thought it would be, I was worried about how it would feel to take the assessment in a new format, but it actually worked really well.”
Participants were given the opportunity to ask questions which ranged from concerns about the use of whiteboards during the exam, how candidates were able to access water, and questions about time management during the exam.
Ghada Zain, a pre-reg student in community and GP sectors at the University of Bradford, gave feedback on the event. “The online session was amazing, so helpful and informative. The speakers gave excellent advice and great tips.”
The session was part of the support that the PDA offers to pre-reg members. The PDA want to make sure that pre-reg members are clear about the processes and procedures that are part of the weeks leading up to the assessment.
