PDA Ability Network releases initial findings from the disability discrimination survey

In February 2024, the PDA Ability Network launched its disability discrimination survey to establish the extent of discrimination faced in the workplace by pharmacists who are disabled or live with a long-term health condition. Initial findings show that there is a lot of work to be done to make workplaces more inclusive.

PDA NAWP Network’s International Women’s Day event: Women and Inclusion in Pharmacy

The PDA NAWP Network hosted its annual International Women's Day event on Friday 8 March. As this year’s theme for International Women’s Day was inclusion the event focused on women and inclusion in pharmacy and allowed those in attendance to share their personal stories of discrimination while experiencing breast and cervical cancer.

New policy supports NHS employees who have experienced pregnancy or baby loss

Last week, the NHS launched a ‘National pregnancy and baby loss policy’ which aims to support those affected by pregnancy or baby loss. The PDA welcomes this new announcement that supports people during a difficult time in their lives.

PDA Ability Network launches disability discrimination survey

The PDA Ability Network is calling on members to complete an online survey on disability discrimination. The results will establish the level and extent of discrimination faced in the workplace by pharmacists who are disabled or live with a long-term health condition.
