Health Minister to address pharmacists at
Welsh Pharmacy Conference

There are still limited spaces available at the Welsh Pharmacy Conference, which takes place on Thursday 23 May at the Vale Resort, Glamorgan. Responses from the Pharmacist Apprenticeship Meeting

Following the Pharmacist Apprenticeship Meeting earlier this month, the institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education has provided written responses to some of the questions raised at the meeting. There responses are available to read here. We will inform members of any further developments and will continue to work towards holding a wider stakeholder meeting, hopefully with IFATE and representatives of the Trailblazer group present.

Well Data Breach Potential Claims Update

On 12 March we wrote to all our members to let them know about a data breach at Well Pharmacy and the options open to them. Over 1,000 people have contacted us with a view to being part of a group claim for compensation.

PDA attend CPC to tackle the issues that matter

The PDA will be attending CPC this year to talk about some of the key issues affecting the pharmacy sector today. As well as exhibiting on Stand C15 at the conference, we will also be delivering topical sessions that cover patient safety and the newly launched state backed indemnity scheme.

We are pleased to announce the dates of next years’ National Conference, which will take place in Birmingham on 28 and 29 March 2020. More details will be announced shortly!
