PDA members get FREE entry to the 2020 National Conference

PDA members, secure your FREE place at our National Conference that takes place in Birmingham on 28 – 29 March 2020. Come and hear from renowned speakers and take part in key topical discussions, all while taking advantage of the fantastic opportunity to network with key influencers and your peers.This event is FREE for PDA members; however, a deposit will be required to secure your place. This deposit will be refunded once you have attended the day/s you have booked onto. The event is also open to non-members at £199 to attend the full, two-day conference or £110 to attend either one of the two days.

PDA student reps attend Young Members Development Weekend

To mark Young Workers Month, the PDA was represented at the GTFU Young Members Development Weekend, which took place from 22nd – 24th November 2019 at Quorn Grange Hotel in Leicestershire. The weekend offered young members of trade unions the opportunity to learn more about the challenge’s unions face and learn more about the labour movement. The informative event was a great networking opportunity, with trade union representation from across the UK.

PDA take part in Christmas Jumper Day to raise money for charityLast week some of the PDA head office team took part in Christmas Jumper day in aid of Save the Children – a charity that exists to help every child reach their full potential.

PDA secure over £50,000 in unpaid locum fees for members this year

Over the years, the PDA has secured hundreds of thousands of pounds of outstanding locum fees for members, but 2019 is proving to be the year with the highest value of unpaid fees to date. So far this year, the PDA has supported locum members to secure £50,031.22 in fees owed by pharmacy companies.

Latest PDA members’ donation to pharmacist charityPDA has donated another eleven thousand pounds to the pharmacist support charity. The money comes from members topping up their membership fees with donations and the £1 for each member that the PDA donates each year.
